Broker's Comments

This is a lovely example of a real classic "pocket rocket". A fast cruiser optimised by Holman & Pye for the IOR rule, the Oyster 26 was one of the most popular of the early models, with 47 being built between 1978 and 1981. With her heavy fin keel and transom hung rudder, the Oyster 26 is fast, stiff and easy to handle. This example is in excellent condition and has been really well maintained over the years.
She was first launched in September 1979 under sail number GBR (K) 7203.

All the sails, running rigging, some of the electronics and spare anchor, chain, fenders, tiller etc are still in storage but will be brought to the boat for any viewings. She also has a stack of historical paperwork/receipts.

She is a bit green from the winter but once cleaned she will be a beautiful boat !!
