Broker's Comments
Broom 35 European offering 6 berths (4 in 2 separate cabins and a double in the saloon).
She is powered by 2 Perkins HT6354 diesel engines which started instantly from cold with little or no smoke.
She has two large heads compartments one with shower and a galley down configuration and the forward cabin is dual use as saloon / dining area or twin cabin.
The engines were removed in 2010 to have some work done and the bilge and engines were painted prior to re fitting. The injector pumps have been fully rebuilt and she has had new water pumps, new oil scavenger pump and the turbos rebuilt.
She is in her original gelcoat which presents well. There is some minor damage under the aft cabin windows due to historic window leaks and/or condensation from the aluminium frames which would benefit from tidying up, but there are no apparent / current window leaks that could be seen.
The upholstery has no damage but being "picky" is showing some marks left as a result of the mechanical work having being done but should scrub up well. Otherwise, it is an honest old Broom 35 that has a lot to offer, and I am sure this boat wold transform given a gentle scrub up, minor varnish in some places and some small electrical changes
A survey from 2021 is available on the boat.
Thus she is priced accordingly.
She is currently stored out of the water and being antifouled.
