Broker's Comments
Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 27m Dutch Barge with residential mooring in London for sale.
This beautiful Luxemotor is moored at Lot's Ait in Brentford, West London and would make an ideal home for a couple or family. It has two large bedrooms, shower room and separate loo, large open plan galley and living area and wheelhouse with views out across the river. On the other side of the river is Kew Gardens and this a particularly leafy part of the river. Brentford is fast changing with direct rail links to Waterloo.
This is a large barge at 27m and the big benefit is the amount of storage on board with a large forepeak area for storage and the overall feeling of space means it could suit a family who need the extra room.
The residential mooring at Lot's Ait can be transferred on approval from the mooring owners and current fees are £14,000 per annum which includes electricity, water and pump outs. The current owner is offering the first year of mooring fees as an incentive so this will save you £14,000.
